My 1st USA gig of the year is :
Thursday January 22nd 7pm in Nolans Irish pub , 204 West Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cocoa Beach, Florida

Then back again in Nolans on Sunday 25th January at 6:30pm for a Robert Burns celebration featuring poems, songs and stories of Scotlands National Poet. A Scottish flavored evening with a dash of Florida sun and sand thrown in. |

Dorothy and I enjoyed a great Christmas in Scotland. We stayed in Dundee with our daughter and husband, enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner at Dorothy's parents house - and I had a great time playing at the Clep bar on 27th December. Although bitterly cold compared to Florida - we had a warm welcome everywhere we went.
For New Year we traveled to the Netherlands and lived in our old village of Ugchelen. New Year was a blast at Freddys bar where we kept the party going until 6am. It was great to be back and meet friends and family again. My rusty Dutch version of "het is een nacht" was helped along by Jelle, Felix and Sander, my son Kyle's old schoolfriends.
We are now back in Florida, enjoying some nice weather and getting ready for the year ahead. After Cocoa Beach this weekend, we are heading south to see what else Florida has to offer. We are also firming up other dates - so watch this space!

This St Patrick's Day we are headed to Saint Augustine in Florida where I am playing in Meehans Irish pub on March 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17th (St Patricks day). The pub is right on the beachfront and there is a Celtic festival in St Augustine the weekend of March 13/14- it should be a lot of fun!
